Noises on your iPhone: Part 3 - Aura 2 Flux
This is an often overlooked app. In some ways like NodeBeat, but quite distinct and different as well. I like Aura as it has a surprisingly large bank of instruments in it and they're of good quality too.
Aura is great for just enjoying the process of connecting sounds together and watching them float. It's something I come back to periodically for fun, but it isn't something that I think is going to be useful in composition. Not that that's a bad thing of course. I'm a firm believer in having musical processes for just creating for the moment, and I think Aura falls into that category.
