Great to know that Isle of Tune is getting the recognition it deserves. It won in the FITC 'flash games' category.
The iPad version is going to be awesome!

this program reminds me of hexatone, which seemed like a really cool idea, but in practice was just a really roundabout way of doing something that should be fairly simple.
I see it more as a toy/game rather than a serious music making device. Which I'm ok with. I really enjoyed Beat It! and I'm hoping to have a similar experience with this app. As for hexatone, me and a some friends used to have some really good fun with it (they'd jam with guitar and bass and I'd mess with hexatone. I'm not a trained muso but I have a programming background. Was the perfect way for us to mess around together. That sounded kinkier than I intended...)
