Yeah, it sounds pretty good. But by the time you learned to master OMGuitar, I bet you could get pretty darned good on a real guitar. And then you'd be a LOT more popular at parties.
Why keep creating models of real world items when digital interfaces open up a whole new realm of instruments that can only exist in the virtual world?
Unless the video is captured backwards, this product is an instant fail. "Most" guitarists strum with their right hand. I'm left handed and taught myself to play with my right since I wasn't gonna hassle finding a left handed one. (sorry no jimmi hendrix/kurt cobain style for me) Is there an option to flip the screen so it can be played normally?
Still left-handed! What's going on? Is he filming in a mirror, or is the interface flippable? And I hope in the light of their unhappy experience with the excellent but fatally unwisely-named Star Guitar Pro that they're aware there's already an app called Om Guitar...
Of course there are two orientations of the screen offered :) for keyboardists (as me) it easier to define chords with the right hand and to strum with the left hand, but you can do it viceversa if you like.
Hey,am I going to be able to feed back into my Marshall stack? And how do I go about smashing it on stage after my wicked-awesome flamenco solo - do I just throw it like a frisbee?
1) i really like iholophone, thank u for that 2) hexatone rules yeah, there is no analogues for it even in vsts?.. 3)i wanna buy Xterio game but it's not in appstore. what a pity.

Probably for the same reason why there's too much Virtual Analog synths out there.
hey qmish, we will make a Hexatone VST/AU some time this year... among with Touch DJ Evolution, Noise.io XT, LoopJ, Mint.io, Cream.io, Futudrum & Noise Universe... (yes the plans for this year are great as always.. we even haven't announced some of these apps)
XTERIO is off sale because 1) it's way too experimental and few people liked it and 2) we are not doing games any longer. %) I can make it "free" for a couple of days, if you like

How can you judge without seeing the app and how it works? :) The person in the video cannot play real guitar at all.

OMGuitar is not a model of guitar, it's rather an innovative digital interface that allows producing realistic guitar sounds.
