That's just awesome...assuming the sound we're hearing hasn't been treated since recording it.
Could a singer/songwriter now use the iPad as an ultra-portable mixer/fx unit ala:guitar with 1/4 out + microphone ---> iPad ---> stereo or mono line out ---> powered speakers/PAAnyone tried that? If so, is the latency low enough (<10 ms) to enable unhindered performance?
This would be more impressive if he weren't in a studio.
