A synth arp app. Here's the description:
AutoArp turns your iPhone into a software synthesiser with a unique playing interface. Select a chord, and strum the laser "strings" with your fingers!
Combining the playing technique of the traditional Autoharp zither with an arpeggiated analogue-style synth engine, you can create a retro and yet futuristic sounding backing to your music.
The synth engine features:
- square, pulse and sawtooth waveforms,
- attack and release envelope controls, and
- a resonant low pass filter with cutoff and resonance controls.
Note: Playback response is best on latest generation devices such as iPhone 4. The app is priced at $0.99

"a unique playing interface" ... ??
Wow those guys sure knows how to jazz up their description. Unfortunately for them, their app looks just like every guitar app :P
Many thanks for featuring my app on Palm Sounds.
And @johnnyg0, thanks for your comment on this... I can see what you mean about jazzing up the description, but hey: that's marketing! Almost everything else is a solid fact (maybe not the 'laser' part).
Anyway I hope it *sounds* unique compared to the other guitar apps.
Cheers!
Andrew
Looks great Andrew. I'll certainly have a play with it
Please developers, musicians need to HEAR what a product sounds like before they buy. It would be helpful if you posted at least sound samples on your websites. Better yet, a video showing the features and how it is used + how it sounds! Thanks.
@Andrew
"but hey: that's marketing!"
Yeah I know :).. but if the first thing I notice about how you're selling your app is a false statement, I won't really look more into it.
Too much people are using the "First / Unique" argument to sell their apps on IOS. But it doesn't mean anything :D
I like "..a truly mindblowing ergonomic interface." as a description on a more recent release. Makes me want to run right out and buy a helmet ;-]
