If you follow on twitter you'll have seen that I asked @sanodg if Detune would consider making the DS-10 and M01 for iOS. He replied, "do you think we should?"
So, what do you think? Should they? If you think they should then let him know on twitter as well ok.

I would love to have that Old School Sound on my iPhone, but I Still would want the Actual Hardware. (I'm a gear whore..sue me :)
Seriously tho, I think thats where it gets most of its Character. The Hardware and Software are dialed in Perfect on that Device.
I don't know if it would sound the same on the iOS. That demo earlier had a 12bit sound to it. Crazy! Remind me of the Linn Drum
and MPC60.
It'll Function the Same or better on the iOS, but the Sound is what I'm after.
The KORG DS, MONOTRON and iPad is a sweet arse mobile combo.
IMO I consider that thing a Pocket Sized MPC60. It has a Warm sound and it Most Def has that Old School Swing. See My Avatar.
agreed. sound is important (ds-10 is the coolest sounding synth i own)
but.. imagine all the ds-10 windows layed out on the ipad screen. no screen flipping. and of course all the possibilities that go along with a faster processor
iphone version gets my vote.
it's not possible to sync the ds-10 with an iphone version is it?
mixdown or record? i almost would just prefer an iphone/ ipod version same as the ds-10 just to get it faster. not worried about the ipad as they already have the ims-20.
absolutely!
Come on people, the d/a converters on the ipod touch/iphone are way better than those on the ds. We're wringing our hands over the sound quality being too good.
yes, some hardware (old nanoloop, sp1200) has its lofi charm, but at least wait until something exists before passing judgement.
I would love to see this. I'm sure almost everyone like me who's bought stuff like nanostudio would consider these day 1 purchases as well.
I want it ! And for iPad too...
I sold my Korg M1 and I will like to find my patchs and sounds
Only if it can sync to the DS version and if it has copy/paste.... otherwise I could live without it. Korg needs to step up their game on iDevices!
