Weirdly, no one seems to talk about it's lack of direct headphone monitoring. This has been a major bummer for me and has severely limited the device's usefulness - else it us a great little mic.
Yeah, that is a key feature. I need dock mic that will work on both iPad and iPod touch 2G, with headphone monitoring.
Yep, i was pretty disappointed to find out i couldnt plug my headphones when i connected the mikey. Does anyone know of a way to make it work?

Ok, thanks for the link. I'm looking at finding a very low profile angled headphone plug that would fit with the mikey. Ithink there should be just enough space to fit with the new mikey.
