What's coming up in iShred Live 2

Lots of great stuff coming up in iShred Live's next version. Here's what Frontier are saying about the update:

New Effects

We're happy to announce that four new effects have been added to the mix: Phaser, Screamer (distortion), Auto Wah, and Octavinator (octave down). You'll soon be able to send your guitar's sound to places it's only dreamed of! To make room for the effects, and simplify the interface, the Amp Simulator is now snuggled off the top edge of the screen (tap to open).

iPad Support

New graphics and a streamlined interface will make rocking with iShred LIVE on your iPad an amazing (and easy!) experience. All of the other screens open in small windows so you're never far from your effects setup.

Settings Screen

A new settings screen which lets you toggle effect sounds on/off (i.e. the click sound effects make when toggled) and customize the screen background with three wallpaper choices (including Fraugahyde!).

The settings screen also makes it easy to review what's new in the app and what's new from us (like, did you know we are having a sale on PianoStudio right now? Pick it up in time for the holidays!)

UI Tweaks

By now you hopefully know that you can really customize the sound by rearranging where effects are located in the audio flow. Rearranging is even easier in iShred LIVE 2.0: the effect follows your finger and slot #'s appear to remind you where each effect lies in the flow of sound.
