If you're a Sunvox user you should be aware of this:
I must warn users of the iPhone4 and iPod Touch 4th generation. SunVox is not working properly on these devices - there is a bug with high resolution touch screen. But i'll try to fix it as soon as possible. Sorry for inconvenience.

I'd say that the problem is more about trying to cram a desktop based interface into a device. Sunvox could really use an interface that is better optimized for a mobile device. It's horrendous the way it is now.

This why i Backup all my apps into a folder so I can downgrade. Give me a shout if you need the older version. Plus I like the grey look better.

horrendous is a bit harsh man. Yes, there are possible improvements, why not suggest them on the sunvox forum.
Bug with high-res screen is fixed now. SunVox v1.6.1 is out.
Is there live recording now, or still step-only?
