Rumours of iPad coming as early as Feb 2011 are circulating already although other rumours say April.
Either way I'm not sure I'll be able to afford to upgrade mine too soon at all.

They'd never do it less than a year before the release of the original. I say it'll be announced around then and released in the fall of '11.

But why would we talk about Apple if it wasn't for the Apple rumour mill?
Lots of competitive pads being announced, so perhaps something in April/May?
The things I wish my iPad had are a mini USB port (so I could attach external drives, MIDI/audio interfaces, USB mic, etc), AND better printing support. (The AirPrint solution that is in place now is a joke. I can print to my Airport-connected remote printer wirelessly via my MacBooks, why not my iPad?! Grrr!)
PS: I love the little iPad Keyboard Dock, which works great for text-intensive stuff ... and now it even works with my iPod Touch since the last OS update!
