People talk about him just because he uses ipads, what about the people who have been drawing on touchscreens for the past 20 years.
Also what does this has to do with mobile music? Will you also report about drawings made on a Wacom or on a real tablet?

I think I will follow your advice, but I don't think I'll get famous just by owning some famous artists arts, I might be rich though :)
Truthfully, though... what sets apart Hockney's work on the iPad from the work of just about anybody in the ArtRage forums? Not much. It's pretty uninspired and amateurish, frankly. Granted, he's in his 70's, but why we should care about his half-baked iPad creations?

Bad is bad. The trick is knowing enough about it to know the difference.

I think he means both; If a 5 year-old did it, it shows promise, so buy it now because they may end up becoming renowned later. If an established artist who has been creating popular art for 50+ years did it, there's no excuse for its amateurism.

I think I meant I like the drawing, but more as
a quick sketch and less as a hockney.

who tries to sell anything to anyone.
