There's been plenty of news about Adobe and Apple working together to bring flash to the iPhone platform. Personally I think this would be a great thing on one condition. That is, that the iPhone can use tools like hobnox Audiotool. If you could do that then you could do all sorts of interesting things inside a browser on a handheld. I was hoping that Opera 9.5 might be capable of this eventually, but as yet I haven't seen any signs of it. Let's hope Adobe and Apple can make this work.

Not to be a buzzkill, but performance is going to be a major issue with Flash on the iPhone. Yes, you could probably run a native version of Rebirth on the iPhone, but a Flash emulated one would probably give you 1/10th the performance, which would probably not translate to any real time performance.
