it's a nice app for learning, but not quite useful for prototyping.
AND even more important: Most simulators are not really useful for prototyping either. I tried a couple of them. The best is still to buy some breadboards, components and a good oscilloscope. Then get some example schematics from the net, read some textbooks and experiment as much as you can while trying to understand why reality behaves as it does ;-)
