What's the worst app you ever bought?

There are great apps, not so great apps, average apps, and then the ones that are terrible. What's the worst app you ever bought and why was it just so bad?

  1. It has to be Cycler3D. It never worked as advertised and the dev refused to respond to any tech support enquiries. After iOS 7 arrived it stopped loading. To top it off Apple refused a refund, even though the app was deleted from the store. This was the first and only time I felt cheated by a seller.

It's probably a toss up between the original Touch DJ and iMPC, the latter of which is the only app I've ever considered trying to get a refund for. Even if I don't - it's appalling. I don't get how so many poor decisions were made. One example: how small is the touch area when previewing a sound? I have to hit it three or four times. Just one of dozens of glaring errors. Too many hype videos and not enough actual work. And Wheree's my manual Retronyms??? Half arsed videos are NOT helpful at all.

  3. Not a music app, but I bought a few of IAPs for the iphone dictionary.com app. Afterwards I realized the app wasn't universal…so I couldn't transfer my purchases to my ipad and that rubbed me the wrong way.

I would love to see a list of your top apps for different applications. For example, "Best Beginner Synth" "Best Multitrack Recorder" etc. There is so much out there these days.
