So, here we are in 2014, and now's a good time for a little spring clean of your iOS device and make sure that you've got just the stuff you really need and use. So what's staying and what's going from your device?
What will you spring clean from your iOS device?
Since I was off from work this past couple of days, I did my spring cleaning.
ReplyDeleteThe most I took out were synths, I just had too many of them. Even though I cringed everytime I deleted one of them, I just simply had to do it since I was not using them as often as others. Synths like miniSynth, Artic Keys, Nlog, Addictive, iYM2151, Wavegenerator, Wavemapper, Launchkey, Audulus, SIDpad & TC-11.
There were others that I took out, but those were the hardest group to comb through and clean up.
I think a few of the cheapies that are just silly one trick ponies will have to go. Like the above writer, I have too many of the same sounding sorts of synths (try saying those last five words quickly) that I think I like, but I never use them. Tougher to get rid of are a few that were expensive, but rarely on my go to list since I have owned them. Also pretty sick of generative anything...I prefer experimental, great sounding instruments where I have to earn the emotion...
ReplyDeleteI feel that the developers have a pretty tough go, and I have done my share of griping about specific apps, but I am not going down that road again. I want to try to focus more on the keepers...
Besides, the garbage sometimes does get retrieved from the trash when a real update happens.
