VibraNode for iPhone
I've been meaning to mention / try this app for a little while.
VibraNode is an app that invites you to use our modern smartphones as objects that can strike our physical world and make acoustic sounding vibration music. By only using the vibration in the iPhone, everybody gets the opportunity to explore the thousands of physical objects that surround us every day and use them as resonators. Coffee cups, plates, cutlery and old casette tape covers are transformed into instruments and sound creators, and thus open up a potentially infinite orchestra of things that are ready to fill the world with acoustic vibration music.
VibraNode is created by Redia in collaboration with the composer and sound artist Morten Riis and The Danish Composers Society.
The app is free.
