I'd lke to know about anyone using mobile apps or devices live, especially if you have videos of the performance. Just put a link in the comments as I'd love to feature your stuff.
I use my ipad live to DJ between sets, I use beatmaker live to trigger backing loops. And I use sample tank live with an i2m to play love synth parts from bass. I play in a variety cover band for these purposes.

I DJ with an ipad between sets, I also use beatmaker 2 to trigger loops live, and I use sample tank and an i2m to play synth sounds from bass. I playin a variety cover act for these purposes.
I use iGrand for piano. Been using Nave for a few pad sounds. Just last weekend layered a string sound on my Yamaha rack with a Nave pad for a somewhat ethereal sound on the top end. Used Alchemy live for the first time last week. Looking to add Galileo and iMini eventually.
I have played live with two Ipads. One was running Portable Dandy and the other Borderlands Granular.
ReplyDeleteI hooked up to a small passive dj mixer called Pokket Mixer and then into a Strymon El Capistan.
