CDM on laptops and touch convergence

It's an interesting piece from CDM, but I'm not sure that I agree completely with convergence between touch and laptops, I'm not sure it works, but I'm prepared to be wrong.

What do you think?

    im not sure if those hybrid things will work, too.
    what makes music software on iOS so great?
    it was made for touch.

    on a hybrid thing there would be 2 ways to interact, multitouch or the mouse, so u drop the multi in multitouch or u take your "to be used with a mouse software" and give it bigger buttons for touch interaction
    or u focus on touch only - i dont think the last option will be chosen often.
