Should I move to G+ commenting?

I'm considering moving commenting to Google+ comments. This would mean that comments would only be available to people using G+, but before doing anything I thought I'd ask for some opinions first. So, what do you think?

Bad idea - you'd lose me for one.

Why take it from 'the free internet for everyone' to a company like FaceBook or Google with limited users?

Not so good for your advertisers either.

    Keep Palm FREE!!!! :-)

  2. If it helps, yes! I've often tried to comment from my ipad without success. Also maybe consider disqus.

I don't comment much, but please no. Google already knows too much about us.

  5. I'm not certain what advantages this would provide. My gut feeling is to stick to what you and your readers have so that you aren't tied to Google.

Instead of forcing even more Google, it would be nice to move away completetely from it, to a free, open platform. But I'm sure Google offers some incentive of financial kind, they're trying all they can to get some people on Google+ (I don't know anyone who uses it).

Personally I'm still wishing for the old, white template to come back, by the way. It actually performed better and was much quicker to read.

I don't use whatever it is so you'll lose my invaluable input lol.

Thanks for reading Palm Sounds, comments are always welcome with the exception of offensive or spurious content which will be deleted.

If you're just a hater, go somewhere else.
