mixr, on these YT vids looks really good, but the continuing bad reviews on the iTunes website continue to worry me, especially given the high price tag the app also comes with.
If the developers really feel they have ironed out the problems, perhaps they should do a month's promotional price at say 69p, like Moog did with Animoog to prove that mixr is an app worth investing in?
Touch Producer did a mixr vs djay review that seems to be accurate. It pits the top two dj apps against each other while showing their strengths and weakness. What it boils down to is personal preference and the fact that mixr is new and still in its infant stage. I would guess that after users voice their opinion things will get ironed out and there will be an eventual price drop at some point.
I feel for the developers of mixr.....I really do. To be fair what other dj app has come close since djay arrived? I'd have probably bought it if it had come out last year when it was supposed to. I do agree with the other comments though.
I must say that the crates thing is a brilliant idea. I rarely remember names of tracks.
How many times have you just been passed a smoke, and then when the high hits you can't for the likes of you remember what all that huge list of records individually sound like? lol!

ReplyDeleteSounds like a premature launch.
ReplyDeleteMarket it as 'professional' while it's reportedly still full of bugs?
