If you become familiar with nanoloop in depth it's far more than halfway decent. In fact, in terms of delivering a unique, consistent, and coherent aesthetic experience it's probably one of the top iOS apps as well.
There are other promising apps as well. Personally I like caustic and g-stomper very much.
