There have been a few iPad (and iPhone) coding apps, but this does appear to be the most complete so far, and it certainly seems to take advantage of the touchscreen. Watch the video right to the end to see a little bit of possible musical uses for this.
I think I'll probably get this one and give it a try.
AppCraft looks weird. If you compare the example screens on the App Store for iPad vs iPhone, they both are the same except screen size. They don't follow the iPhone design guidelines. Without a good reason it seems..
@lala, I've used an app called Gusto that's not half bad. It didn't make me want to give up editing on my computer but it works in a pinch. Built-in FTP client.
If I only knew code :(

I think what's remarkable about this, is that it's the first real coding app that Apple's allowed past the Appstore process.
ReplyDeleteIt was a real shame Apple disallowed Scratch. :(
Don't waist your money; it is not worth it yet.
ReplyDeleteAppCraft is a better buy.
"AppCraft is a better buy."
ReplyDeleteHow can AppCraft be a 'better buy' if it's free? hehe
Actually it looks pretty clunky! What makes AppCraft better?
