Interesting numbers (app store)

So, apparently after 450 days (roughly) of the iPad we now have over 100,000 iPad apps (including universals). That is quite impressive. In total Apple has over 400,000 apps in it's iTunes store but only about 5,000 Mac apps although I'm sure that'll grow.

    Very cool numbers indeed! I've had my iPad all of those days ... pre-ordered and stayed home that day to sign for delivery.

    Impressive? Perhaps. But how many of those apps are really that groundbreaking, or simply just cover the same theme many times?
