The last few days I've posted a round up of free apps and apps that are on sale. Would that be useful on an ongoing basis? Perhaps not daily, but regularly?
For those of us who subscribe via RSS, I think a daily roundup is a little excessive, since it's all there originally. They're easy enough to skip, but they feel more like noise than signal to me since it's just recapping what you've already posted.
I have an app called appshopper. It allows you to look qt all activity on the app store plus keep a list of wanted apps and when something about themnchanges wether it be updates or price change it tells you. I went through and tagged every music app I ever wanted in that app and now I just check it every day. Plus at the bottom of every app it will show the entire apps price change history so you can see what the price changes are like.
I have had this app since the first day I bought my iPad and it has saved me so much time and money. It is the best app finder I have ever used. I recommend it to everyone that likes to collect apps and who doesn't like to collect apps,
i think it would be good - but even better in email format. you can do this with feedburner or mailchimp which can batch all your posts of the day into one message automatically via rss.
I think it is great. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteA weekly update would be very useful if possible
ReplyDeleteyes!!!thanks
ReplyDeleteYes, I'd like weekly (or so) updates listing free *and* marked-down apps.
ReplyDeleteI also like the "looking forward too" posts, to let me know if I'm missing something...
I'm totally a Palm Sounds junkie. I had a tab in my mobile Safari on this page, and refresh it thrice daily at least! W00T

If you have the time Ashley, that would be great! Would save having to scroll down the page. (where's the 'lazy' emoticon?!)
