Is Microsoft making porting from iOS to Windows Phone 7 easier?

Is MS trying to tempt iOS developers over to their Windows Phone 7 platform? I'd appreciate any developers tell me what they think of this.

The details are over at the Windows Phone developer blog.

    @Anonymous

    Of course .net doesn't come for a visit on IOS, its being denied, just like everybody else who doesn't bend to Apple's desires.

    better a closed system or do you want to run anti-virus software on your phones?

    Oh.. I see, you believe there was never any viruses for Apple's product.

    You know you need anti-viruses with OSX right?

    "better a closed system or do you want to run anti-virus software on your phones?"

    Actually, IOS is dependant on a lot of "open-systems" (IOS being based off OSX, which is being based on BSD, which is as open as it can get. Maybe you should get to know what you are talking about before you write a sentence, you wouldn't look as ignorant.

    If you believe IOS is completely free of malware, ask yourself how come Apple isn't able to stop hackers from jailbreaking their devices? Why malicious people wouldn't use the same techniques to do it. And why security experts says using banking apps is a risk?

    Palm OS could do MIDI way before IOS. Windows Mobile could do MIDI way before IOS too.

    Been using Palms and Winmo devices with my fingers all the time, but I can understand it looks like a superhuman ability to dumbass IOS users who believes fingers are the best for everything because their god told them so. You must love finger drawing?

    Meh.. I'm no fan of the UI in OSX. I don't like having only one menu for all the windows. In a multi-monitor setup like the one I use it gets worse.

    "well that is a proof of concept"

    No, its proof of execution. Those hacks are accomplished in front of an audience, its not just some concept on paper. But I understand you will prefer denying all of this.

    Exactly, it can be done, it has been done, its in the wild, but Apple fanboys cannot acknowledge this reality. But its ok, it makes them easier targets.

    Just remember Apple THEMSELVES say OSX users should get an anti-virus.
