Run iPad apps on your (jailbroken) iPhone / iPod Touch

I'm not sure I get this, but if you have a jailbroken iPhone/Touch and want to give it a go I'd be interested to know the results.

  2. tried iElectribe. installation was a breeze.
    I got a perfect view of the top-left-corner of the app. :-)
    then it crashed on me.
    I decided to terminate the experiment.

    @rob

    What did you do at the part where it asked you to replace the 'IP' with you're iPhones ip? I tried it and it doesn't work... Did you do something different?

    didn't work for me either.
    then I replaced it on both places where it says *IP* & it worked.
    like this:(where 10.0.1.40 is my IP)

    #iTelePad2Pod is made and coded by The iSmooth Project.

    unzip /Applications/iTelePad2Pod/Apps/*.ipa -d /Applications/iTelePad2Pod/Apps
    scp -r /Applications/iTelePad2Pod/Apps/Payload/*.app root@10.0.1.40:/Applications
    ssh root@10.0.1.40 killall SpringBoard
    rm -r /Applications/iTelePad2Pod/Apps/*

    Exhibit A for why the larger screen size of the iPad makes all the difference in the world.

    Even if this did somehow work for GB on iPhone, it would be nearly impossible to use the tiny UI elements without being frustrated to the point of distraction.

    Neat experiment, though. :)
