For 59p I had to give this a go, loving it so far, only just scratching the surface but seems like it could be very useful. Would love to see this sync to midi and have audio c&p, altho I'm happy you can set the tempo and have seperate loops. Feels very fluid on my first gen ipad, also like the way the devs got the sound and colour spectrum to match, red for low through to violet for highs, nice!
I would love to see one of these apps allow the user to dictate the vertical note ordering and scale. Also midi output triggering would be cool. Too many of these generative apps just use pentatonics and diatonic scales or give you 'moods' to choose from, which is fine for beginners etc to create pretty sounding music, but not flexible enough to use as a serious compositional tool.
As it goes I like slewpi a lot more than most of similar apps in this genre. I think it's got some interesting features.
