You probably already know about this, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. I've been using Chordbot's MIDI export via email alongside Xewton Music Studio and find they work really well together.
Ok, it is a little bit of a long way around to have to send the email to yourself, but it does work very well indeed.
Works awesome in NS too.
ReplyDeleteCan you elaborate?
ReplyDeleteExport midi / email to yourself ..
and then?
I have the PDF app. which can import files via the web and then copy/paste into other apps ..that was my plan.
Do you have a different way?
Does NS import via the web 9without Nanosync?"
I just bombarded you with questions (apologies)
I just bought Chordbot last night and love it so far so i was interested in how you move your progressions/midi files into other apps.
Thanks.
I'm jailbroken. So what I do is email the midi to myself, open it in an app called iFile, which is like a Windows Explorer program for your iPhone. In iFile, I cut the midi file and paste it into the Documents/User/ folder which is inside the Nanostudio folder.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jaybry84
ReplyDeleteLooks ike I have to do it the old fashioned way for NS (nanoync)
Not jailbroken and probably won't be doing that anytime soon.
Wish there was a way move midi files within the device.
Thanks to Palm Sounds this app now sits on the first page of my iPad and iPhone. I'm glad for the recent postings as I really hadn't thought much about this app before. This is a great app! I can learn some new chord progressions ... play along with my guitar or ukulele, try out chord progression with different instruments and even copy paste into nanostudio .... wow! Now if it would just sing lyrics for me I'd be set.
ReplyDeleteWhen I click on a midifile on the internet I get
ReplyDeletethe question ;" open in music studio?"
on my not jailbroken ipod.
This doesnt work like this inside the idevice??
