Better Batteries in future iOS devices?

Interesting post at AppleInsider about Apple looking at better battery technology without increasing the size of batteries. Now that would be good. So far all of my iOS devices have had pretty terrible battery life.

    Well of course, its much more profitable for them if you replace the device completely.

    I definitely prefer devices that has a replaceable battery, and I don't think it would make it that much more larger (maybe 0.2mm more?)
