iOS4.2 is getting close!

Lots of sites saying that it is very close now and that a new gold master has been posted to the Apple Developer centre. Finger's crossed!

    Isn't anybody afraid that iOS4.2 is going to slow everything down? When I updated my iPod Touch to 4.1 awhile ago, it made everything completely unplayable; there was major latency on all apps. Then I bought the 4thGen iPod Touch, and it remains extremely slow and unplayable. The implementation of multi-tasking ruined everything. What if it does the same for the iPad? So our synths no longer sound as we play them? or our drum pads trigger two seconds after we tap on them?

    To be honest I am a little worried about it, although the iPad is fast already and should do ok.
