iOS 4.2 very close?

Brighthand says that iOS4.2 is very close now and could be with us any day now.

I've been hearing good things about 4.2 like existing universal binaries with support for fast switching will also work on the iPad with multitasking with no changes at all. Of course there's all the stuff about CoreMIDI which will hopefully become even clearer soon.

I wonder if there will be any last minute surprises though? Something that Apple have thrown in but not told us about as yet?
