How long will Windows 7 last?

Given that Microsoft's Kin phone lasted about a week, how long do you think Windows Phone 7 will go on for?

You might think it is a silly question, but then we're seeing some odd behaviour from lots of large organisations at the moment.

So how long will Microsoft keep Windows Phone 7 going then? A week, a month, a year?

    I've stopped making predictions because I'm terrible at it. I was quite convinced that the iPad was going to be a complete sales disaster.

    I thought , "who in the world wants a large device that only does the same thing that an iPhone or iPod Touch already does won't fit in your pocket?"

    I guess I was off by at least a few million.
