Good to see tech being used in this way, and makes me want to start making some loops for looptastic instead of just playing with the inbuilt stuff.
From an audience perspective though, it is not as immersive as a DJ making regular eye-contact and using some hardware controllers like decks or buttons. Somehow watching someone squinting at a screen just doesn't do it for me. Same goes for laptops really.
Maybe a combination of this and an iphone in your hands so you can trigger stuff but still engage with the audience, a bit like a Tonium Pacemaker?

I still wish tonium had made an app version of their hardware, I think that would've been really cool, but I just don't think it will happen sadly.
