I had to take a short train journey this morning and spent some time with my old Dell Axim using Aurora and Mixtikl V2. I love making music on even the shortest of journeys. I think for me it is the essence of mobile music.
I used to travel a lot more than I do now and making music on the go was one of the few things that made my job at the time more bearable.
This morning I started a couple of tracks, one in Aurora and one in Mixtikl. I didn't get too far with either, just made a start really. What I like about mobile music is to be able to constantly come back to work and rediscover it and add to it, building up on pieces over time and in multiple locations and even time zones.
I guess that's just the way I work, but it works for me.
