TORO mini is on the way

Here's an app you might be interested in. TORO mini is the new app coming from InstantBinary, makers of Instant Beat. This synth has some great sounds, and I'm going to get a couple of examples up later today if I get time.

In the meantime, here are the screen shots to enjoy. More soon.

Not quite on topic, but did anyone (of those who can) see "Synth Britannia" on BBC4 last night? It was amazing and is still available on BBC iPlayer. 6 days left to watch for all your Kraftwerk, Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle, John Foxx, Gary Numan, Human League, The Normal, and..ahem..Depeche Mode goodness!

  4. Just watched it last night. Awesome. Need to track down some Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire. For some reason I always used to gloss over them in the record shops - maybe I'd just never actually heard their music on the radio.

Was slightly more disappointed with the follow up programme though - the various BBC sessions. Although New Order were great (interesting look for Gillian I thought!)

  5. Marlene, the audio samples went up yesterday. I hope you liked them.

Yeah, she looked terrible in that song. I thought OMD were terrible, but not as bad as Dave Gahan's dancing on TOTP.
