ReelDirector for iPhone (3GS)
It is stuff like this that makes me want to go out and buy a 3GS. It looks like this app could be the TrakAx Mobile for the iPhone platform.
I'd be really interested to know if anyone with a 3GS has actually tried this out, and if so what they think of it. As far as I know this is the only true mobile video editing app for the iPhone to date.
According to the write it it has loads of transitions and can support credits etc.
So, should I upgrade?
ReelDirector at the app store:
Not worth the upgrade, you'll get it and then come june regret it as it will have become obsolete in 6 months. I'd get the new one in june and be up to date for a full year, myself.
ReplyDeleteYou're probably right there, I think I will wait for the next iPhone.
ReplyDeleteI upgraded in June with a 4 month old iPhone 3G ... it cost me a bit but it was worth it and I still have my 3G which is still getting plenty of use.
ReplyDeleteAs for ReelDirector ... yes .... it's good and a lot of fun. Sure I could do my editing in FCP or iMovie but this is just something fun to do right on the iPhone. A worthwhile purchase for anyone with a 3GS who likes taking movies.
best wait I'd say
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking I'll upgrade, then decide not to, then want to, etc.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll make up my mind one day!
