iPhone audio breakout cable


Following on from my post yesterday about intermorphic's audio input for the iPhone and iPod Touch, here's even more information on how to do it yourself. All the details are right here.

    You can do the same thing for recording on the Nokia N95, though the ground and mic connections are swapped.

  2. I don't know if this works with the 1st gen iphone since it has the recessed audio jack. Can anybody confirm or deny if this will work with this model?

  3. I made exactly this cable for my Loox720 a few months bac to use with StompBox and MeTeoR. My soldering a are a bit iffy though. I also bought a 4-pole 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter to use it with my Glofiish x500 WM phone. Works a treat.
