Hexatone sneak preview

Here's a quick peek at Hexatone from Amidio. It looks very good so far, but then, what else do you expect from Amidio?

  1. Looks like an animated old-school war game. Looks fun!

I just hope they leave out the cheesy cartoon ladies. I'm embarrassed to open some of their apps in public...

Makes you wonder what their 'hot dancer' game would be like?

I doubt you'd be able to open that one in public.

Anon - You are right on track about the hot dancer game. Let's just say things got a little bit "cheeky".

  5. I think I'm going to have to get this if it ever sees the light of day, just to see how 'cheeky' it is.

  6. We will remove all the girls and cheesy gfx from our apps except for Hor Dancer (if it makes throught the review process on the 20th time, hehe)

Star apps (Star Guitar, Star Piano, Star Melody) will get more professional features and the prices will increase.

A bit of a shame as I did like the girls on the splash screens on your apps, but more pro features would be nice.

I do hope that Hot dancer will make it to the app store now, I'd like to see what all the fuss was about in the end.

I like the girls in Star apps very much :) but in general the market responded negatively which is a shame...

  12. The world is filled with objectifications of women. I have a 4-year-old daughter who sometimes plays games on my iPod and I do not want to expose her to any more such images if I can help it.
Frankly, I cannot imagine that the "girls" in the Star apps appeal to many people besides teenage boys and immature men.
I am not saying that there is no place for that kind of thing—just not in paid applications that are supposed to be for music.
