Thoughts on Jasuto

I've been making synths with Jasuto and I am amazed by how flexible the app is. It is incredible. In some ways it makes me think of the modular environment in Sunvox, but with a lower level of functionality exposed.

As I've been building things using it I've found it quite straightforward, and even when I don't get the results I expect, what I do get is interesting and worthwhile.

I know that I'm going to have to invest more time in this app to get the results that I'm looking for, but even so, it feels like that's going to be a lot of fun in the learning and will hopefully include some expected results along the way.

If you haven't tried out this app as yet I'd really suggest that you give it a go as It is only £0.59 ($0.99) at the moment, and is completely worth it.

Jasuto is available at the app store:

My thoughts on Jasuto, I've never seen or played with such a beautiful and exciting modular softsynth in a very long time. Jasuto is going to give the 'heavies' a real run for their money and I can't wait to see the new browser interface that Chris Wolfe is working on.

  2. I wasn't aware of the browser interface, I must of missed that one. Sounds very interesting.

  3. My thoughts on Jasuto: mad, daring, creative, fun!

It's a proper synth toybox. Makes me wish the iPod had a much faster processor!

  4. The more I play with it the more I realise what an amazing piece of software it is.
