QOTD: What mobile hardware (apart from a phone or tablet) do you take with you?
What other items are 'essential' and you have to have them with you when you're out and about and know that you're going to be using your device for making music.

Before getting a smartphone or a tablet, I used to obsessively have my GBA sp with a copy of NanoLoop 2.3 crammed in it. I still can't find a better synthesis engine. Something about the 2.3.... Having the ability to drastically alter every single step in the sequence made for such sonic glory. It had this glitchy, percussive, vocal, bouncy beauty all while being so simple and minimal. I just can't attain with any other software. Anyone have any suggestions?
