wow that's great. reminds me of some of the research stuff coming out of cnmat.
My only critique is that that the prototype seems very geared towards mpc-style playing, while the potential applications are endless. Some way of using application-specific templates might help take full advantage of the thing.
er ok one real gripe. "This is the first time technology and tradition have been used together on the classical stage" I like kronos quartet and all, but that's a silly thing to say.
