I haven't mentioned a photography type app in a while and Kovsky emailed me to say that 3D Gallery is on sale which is a great app for looking at photos in a virtual 3D gallery. It is on sale at the moment for just $0.99.
I've also owned 3D Gallery since I first bought a touch. It's great, but I wish it had a 'steadycam' mode, because the walk about is far too jerky for me. I like a smooth "fly-thru"!
If you are looking for a really good portfolio app for iPad, I can highly recommend "Minimal Folio". MF doesn't do 3D or isn't gimmicky in any other way, but what it does do, it does very very well, and I've already used it to show of artwork and photos to some pretty big clients already (and got the work!). Therefore I can't recommend MF enough! :)
I have it on my iphone, ofcourse it's for the gimmick and not for proffesional presentations, so in that way maybe adding a first person shooter option would be nice.
If you look at other 3d gallery apps this one really pops out
