Sonic Boom of Spaceman 3 (Jason's Spiritualized "precursor" band) is a fan of DD.
Fascinating history!!Also check out Louis and Bebe Barron, who wrote the very first electronic musical score, for "Forbidden Planet" (ring modulator and tape-based effects). And Bebe most likely inventing looping (using tape loops)!
Utterly love Forbidden Planet, I have to watch it again every couple of years. Love the music
