CDM on the MIDI Mobilizer

CDM makes some really good points on the MIDI Mobilizer and why you still need it even if 4.2 brings CoreMIDI.

There are some really good arguments in this which would make me want to buy one if I didn't already have one. Most interesting is that there are somewhere around 75 apps that are working on MIDI Mobilizer compatability!

That can only be good news.

  1. And another good reason, at least for me, is that I keep misplacing my camera connection kit but never the MIDI Mobilizer :)

    @Marlene

    Wow, and your avatar is you behind a camera, you'd think the location of your CCK would always be known... :)

    Perhaps Marlene shoots film not digital?

    @Tom

    Fine, have it your way, here goes:

    It would seem that Marlene mostly identifies herself with PHOTOGRAPHY and hence, it would stand to reason that she would value her photo-related accessories above her mobile music making accessories.

    How was that? :)

  6. Ok .... time to chime in :) By profession I'm a photographer having shot film for Chrysler Jeep and offroad vehicle events for 25 years but I was also one of the first to jump into digital ..... but only for personal use. I'm the little nature hiker/photographer type shooting tons of digital exposures without thinking .... note the daypack on my back in the photo.

    So .... music wise I'm a total amateur and you would think I would lose my MIDI Mobilizer first but actually I don't really use the CCK to import photos so there lies the reasoning .... reasoning?????????

    There are 12 Apps working with mobilized and NOT 75!

    I believe what is stated is that there are 75 apps WORKING on compatability. Easy to misunderstand.
