iPhone App Directory

Brady's top 10 Apps

This is a really hard one, considering that there are so many great apps that have so many different uses.

I have come up with a list of the top 10 iPad/iPhone apps made strictly for music composition, (recording apps not included) based on three key features

  • Best sound quality
  • Most intuative user interface
  • Most features
Here's the list:
  1. Nanostudio (all you will ever need)
  2. Synthstation (great sample quality. Will be made better with synthstation25...if it ever arrives!)
  3. iSequence for iPad (fantastic UI and features)
  4. Aurora Sound Studio HD (sample quality is not amazing but the app has so many feautures to recreate and design sound)
  5. Xenon for iPad (wow it's like argon on steroids)
  6. MusicStudio (great app but sample quality is very poor. useful if exported as MIDI though)
  7. Beatmaker (amazing once you have a library of your own samples)
  8. Thumbjam (more useful as an instrument than composition tool as there is no quantize option but you can create your own instruments and the UI is great)
  9. DrumTrack8 (MAKE SIMPLE BEATS  FAST)
  10. Nlog (most full fetured and realisitic synthesizer app so far.)
I would like to add a bonus app too

M3000HD (beautiful)

That was a great list. If you want to get your top 10 list on Palm Sounds just email me at the usual address.
