The current edition of Future Music has a 10 page spread on mobile music. The feature covers most platforms, iPhone, DS, PSP, Palm OS (not webOS), Windows Mobile, and netbooks too.
I might give it a read later and let you know what I think of it.
It's a great issue. However, I felt that the article is really just a rough overview of the mobile music making scene. There was really nothing that anyone following Palm Sounds doesn't already know about. It would have been nice to see some app-specific articles rather than just a broad overview.
