Amazing news !!!!!

I just found this from Olivier at the Bhajis Garden forum:
A new project

Jul 15, 2009 13:17

Hi people!

I've recently started again spending long nights hacking on a music/audio/synthesis related project.

I can't reveal anything for now because I have to deal with a lot of novel things, a lot to learn - so I have no idea if what I am doing will succeed or not. It's crazy - I really have no clue what I am doing, but I am doing it anyway, and trying hard!

What I can tell is that if I succeed, this will be something I will be very proud of, something that some of you here will surely enjoy using, and a first step towards a new range of projects.

I can tell it'll be free/open-source, and that contributions/modifications from individual users will be welcome.

Stay tuned :)

For those who don't know, Olivier built Bhajis Loops which is still one of the best mobile music studios ever made, so I'm betting that whatever this new project is it will be amazing to say the least.

  6. 5 guesses says it's gonna be on something "i" + "apple". In the current market I can't see why a Dev would want to make mobile software on anything else. Android and WebOS just haven't shown they can cut it in this area thus far. WinMo is just so lackluster and well.... microsoft that I don't want to touch it. I bought a palm pc to use Milkytracker and it broke in a week.... if your are curious; it was made by viewsonic.

Do you think that whatever this ends up being that there will be a way to import Bhajs tracks into it?

Waiting patiently as ever for this. I don't think your poll was much use though. Just made people vote on something that was already decided, and at worst it will put him off doing it at all.

Maybe you should think a bit more about what you write and publish!
